Random Act of Kindness

On Friday, August 19th, fourth grade teachers, Hayley Prince, Amy Kilgore, and Shannon Reece were pleasantly surprised while shopping for classroom supplies at Staples in Waynesville.  A casual conversation with another shopper in the store turned in to something much more.  A few minutes later while the teachers were shopping, a Staples employee asked if they were from Junaluska and took their items to the register while they continued to shop.  When Mrs. Prince, Ms. Kilgore, and Mrs. Reece began to pay, the employee told them they need not worry about their bill.  The bill had already been paid by the woman the teachers spoke with earlier in the store!!!  We here at Junaluska Elementary School want to say a big THANK YOU to this anonymous friend.  We live in a wonderful community and are proud to serve the children and families that make up Junaluska Elementary School.
