Science

Junaluska Elementary School uses the STEMscopes Curriculum for science. STEMscopes is a hands on science curriculum designed to deepen student knowledge with authentic cross-curricular connections to literacy, song and dance, art and sculpture, engineering and design, and math and data analysis.

STEMscopes is aligned to NC Essential Standards. It has a digital platform with many access points allowing for differentiation among students. Our students love that STEMscopes curriculum allows them to experience science first hand and develop understanding through the activities that they do in class.
