Science Olympiad

The Junaluska Elementary School Science Olympiad team competed on Saturday, April 1, in Buncombe County.  There were 33 fourth and fifth grade students who represented our school.  They won 16 metals and the Varsity Trophy for overall winnings in the Varsity competition.  Junaluska Elementary School is especially thankful for all of the parents and volunteers that supported us.  Congratulations, students and teachers!!!  A special thank you is in order to Mr. Mark Ethridge, Mrs. Jennifer Mullins, and Mr. Joel Sellers for leading and coaching these students.  Also, we had tremendous support from parents and their help with the Science Olympiad.  They are:  Paul and Anna Catherine Super, Laura Lam, Savannah Bledsoe, Crista Bova, Hugh Burford, and Dawn Melrose.
