Jason Boyer Visits JES

Meteorologist, Jason Boyer from WLOS News 13 visited 2nd and 5th grade students to discuss weather concepts on Friday, September 20.  The science curriculum for 2nd and 5th grade includes weather terminology and different concepts of weather.  Mr. Boyer shared several websites he uses to help forecast the weather.  He also shared demonstrations on high and low pressure and different air masses.  A special thank you goes to Mrs. Ally Francis for organizing this event for the students at Junaluska!
