Science Fun

Science is always more fun when you get to experience it! Our Junaluska 5th graders got to do just that, with Tuscola science teacher Mr. Jim Davis, who brought some of his junior chemistry students with him to show and discuss with our 5th graders how physical and chemical changes occur. From elephant toothpaste to watching their own teachers’ hair stand up, students shared their oohs and ahhs of excitement! Junaluska has shared this experience with Mr. Davis over many years and we are sad to see it end since he will be retiring at the end of this year. We wish him all the best in his retirement and thank him for his dedication to sharing science with so many students in Haywood County!
