Technology abounds!

Technology abounds at Junaluska Elementary School.  With the wonderful efforts of our PTA, we have raised enough money to supply fifth grade classrooms with Chromebooks for each student to use at school.  Mrs. Mullins, Ms. Norris, and Mr. Sellers all have their classrooms connected with Google Classroom.  This enables students to complete assignments online with information right at their fingertips.  The students have been so excited to use the Chromebooks in class.  Students are responsible for returning their Chromebook to the charging station so it can be ready for the next day.  The PTA raised $10,000 for the school to order 50 more Chromebooks for students in second, third, and fourth grade classrooms.  A portion of this will also buy iPads for Kindergarten and first grade classrooms as well.  Junaluska Elementary School would like to thank all parents and community members who have helped with this ongoing project to put technology into the hands of the students.  We would like to say a very special thank you to our dedicated PTA for their continuing efforts to make Junaluska the best place to be!
