Butterflies

Junaluska Multiage and Second Grade students have been learning all about the life cycle of the Monarch butterfly.  Balsam Mountain Trust came and visited these students with displays all about how butterflies live.  Students in each of the classrooms were able to watch the various stages from caterpillar to chrysalis to adult butterfly.  Students released these new butterflies and watched as they began their migration southward.
