Three Cheers for Dr. Seuss!

Tuesday, March 2, Junaluska Elementary School celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday.  Students and staff dressed as their favorite Dr. Seuss character.  There were lots of “Things,” Hortons, Cat in the Hats, and even the Lorax!  March 2 is national “Read Across America Day.”  We love reading at Junaluska.  Mr. Hyde read his favorite Dr. Seuss book, “Hooray for Diffendoofer Day!”  He even dressed like Mr. Lowe, the principal of Diffendoofer School.  Encourage your child to read and not to be afraid to make mistakes, as we learned from Dr. Seuss and his books.
