Congratulations are in order for the Junaluska Battle of the Books team. They competed in the district level competition on Thursday, March 24th. They did a WONDERFUL job! Students had to read 18 novels and answer questions about the novels in a head-to-head battle against each of the elementary schools in the county. These students were coached by Mr. Ira Hyde, Media Coordinator and Mrs. Donna Cox, Title 1 Reading Specialist.
