Congratulations, Mrs. Prince!

Congratulations are in order for Mrs. Hayley Prince.  Earlier this year, Mrs. Prince was selected by her colleagues as Junaluska Elementary Teacher of the Year for 2018-2019.  This past month, Mrs. Prince, along with the teacher of the year from every other school in Haywood County, had a selection committee come and visit her classroom while she was teaching.  She went through an interview process by various members of the community, HCS Central Office, and school board members.  During this past summer, Mrs. Prince compiled a portfolio, in which she shared her philosophy and love of teaching.  Of the 15 wonderfully qualified educators, our very own Mrs. Prince was named Haywood County Schools’ Teacher of the Year!  We are so proud of her!  Congratulations, Mrs. Prince!
