Bike Rodeo

Junaluska Elementary School’s fourth grade students were provided the opportunity to participate in annual Physical Education Bike Rodeo Program that focused on training for bicycle safety signals and roadway riding skills. Students spent the day with the Physical Education teacher and volunteers  on learning to ride a bike procedures, first in the gym (rules and signs) and then outdoor riding course. Student’s in each class enjoyed the chance to ride the bicycles through a bicycle safety course, set up outside in the front parking lot. The students executed traffic rules with various road signs being placed throughout the course. A special thanks to volunteers, students, and staff for a successful 2019 Bike Rodeo.
