Share the Love!

The week of February 15-19 was a very special week at Junaluska Elementary.  Kindness and love filled the halls of the school each day.  Students were able to share the love with lots of people throughout the week.  Monday was Love to Family.  Tuesday was Love to Friends.  Wednesday was Love to School.  Thursday was Love to Self and Laughter.  Friday was Love to Community.  There was a classroom door decorating contest were students and staff decorated their door with the theme of sharing the love.  Congratulations to Mrs. Noland and Ms. Bova’s classes for the best decorated door.  The students did a wonderful job!  Throughout the week students collected toys and games to donate to the Pigeon Community Center.  Students also collected items for those in our nursing homes in our school district.  Students packed 87 boxes to be delivered to the nursing homes!  We are so proud of our students and the love and kindness they have shown to others.  We hope to continue these acts of kindness throughout the school year as our children pay it forward!
