Haywood County Math Teacher of the Year

Congratulations are in order for Mrs. Marlene Creary, Title 1 Math Teacher.  She was selected as Haywood County Schools Math Teacher of the Year!  Mrs. Creary is an active member on the math curriculum council for Haywood County Schools and has been an integral part of implementing new strategies for students and teachers.  She will attend the North Carolina Teachers of Mathematics Conference in the fall.  She will be recognized as one of 115 exemplary math teachers in the state.  We at Junaluska are so proud of her!  Upon being presented with this honor, Mrs. Creary answered with what she tells the students all the time, “Math Rocks!!!”
