Book Harvest’s Books on Break!

Haywood County Schools was able to use grant funding for a second year of Books on Break for each elementary school in the district!

Book Harvest’s Books on Break program allowed each student at Junaluska to select ten brand new books to take home and keep forever, right before summer break to encourage reading over the summer and prevent learning loss.

​Students choose from a diverse selection of brand new, high-interest titles, including bilingual books in English and Spanish.
