Battle of the Books Champions for Haywood County

11 Junaluska Elementary students won the county-wide Battle of the Books Competition Friday April 2nd. All students read 16 books throughout the school year and were quizzed with detailed questions about the books. The came in 1st place against other elementary schools in the county. Students from all the schools worked hard and this is an incredibly difficult, year-long undertaking.
